Phillips Energy, Gloucester Brewing Co. hold Alzheimer’s fundraiser today

Phillips Energy will host its annual Longest Day fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association in partnership with Gloucester Brewing Company today, Thursday, June 20.
Each year, the longest day of the year, Phillips Energy works to raise awareness of and money to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, a release stated.
First, throughout the day, Phillips Energy will donate 10 percent of all retail fuel sales at its public gas station located at 2586 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes.
Then, the Phillips Energy fundraising team will head up to Gloucester Court House and the Gloucester Brewing Company.
“We’d love for the community to join us to raise a glass to all the people who work to find a cure for Alzheimer’s and to support the many caregivers out there supporting people living with this terrible disease,” said Elizabeth McCormick, Vice President of Phillips Energy.
