James Dylan’s acrylic painting “Paddles,” above left, and Rick Seguso’s oil painting “Holding onto Mother Earth,” above right, received People’s Choice Awards for their entries in the RAL Art Center’s January exhibit “You be the Judge” during the First Friday reception held on Feb. 7 at the gallery in Kilmarnock. Below, Terry Willis’s photograph “Tears of a Boy,” at left, and Jody Ball’s painting “Eggs in Linen” received People’s Choice Awards in the January exhibit “Up Close and Personal.” All four artworks received an identical number of votes, said a press release from the Rappahannock Art League.
