Peggy Ann Hogge, 70, of Wicomico, surrounded by her family was called to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014.
Peggy was a beautiful person with a generous spirit and heart who quietly took care of her family before herself. Some of her greatest joys in life were catching soft crabs near the shoreline at her childhood home in Clay Bank, working in her flower gardens, creating all sorts of arts and crafts to take to the county festivals and to see what beautiful crafts others had created. She loved doing her refunding every day and listening to Elvis Presley music.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Howlett; mother, Ollie Mae Howlett; and brother, Jerry Howlett.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Calvin Wayne Hogge; two children, Lorraine Smith and Michael Hogge; daughter-in-law, Shannon Hogge; grandsons, Jason Smith, Brayden Hogge, Zachary Deal, and her sister, Diane Elias.
“I’ll never be lonely, for you are the stars to me; you are the light I follow. I will see you again. This is not where it ends. I will carry you with me, till I see you again.” Love always and forever…
