Peer Recovery Services (formerly The 84 East Peer Resource Center) in Gloucester has a number of upcoming events and other activities, according to John Rooks.
Peer Recovery Services helps people in recovery from substance use disorders and/or mental health challenges find hope, health, home, purpose and community by providing opportunities for recovery, work and peer support. It is located at 7603 Hospital Drive.
Upcoming activities
The next Peer to Peer class starts Aug. 15 for four sessions at the Warsaw Recovery Center, 5097 Richmond Road, Warsaw. There is no charge for these classes.
The NAMI fundraising kickoff will be held on Saturday, July 29 at the Wickham Lodge in Beaverdam Park in Gloucester starting at 10 a.m. They will have barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs, games and a cake walk. There will be a small entry fee for the cake walk of $10 and that will also give you a membership into NAMI for one year. Those planning on attending are asked to RSVP with Pam Mullins at 804-210...
