Paula Courtney Jones, 50, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Oct. 12, 2021.

She is survived by her parents, Judith Scott Jones and Meredith W. Jones; sisters, Phyllis J. Jones (Mike Lightfoot) and Sally J. Peace (Ken); nephew, Curtis Peace Jr. (Ambre), and great-nephew, Spencer Garrett Peace.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Ashland Christian Church, 301 S. James Street, Ashland, Va. 23005. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to either Capital Area Rescue Effort, P.O. Box 575, Sandston, Va. 23150 or to Ashland Christian Church, 301 S. James Street, Ashland, Va. 23005.
