Paul William Carroll, age 53, of Hayes, passed away on Dec. 11, 2014.
He was born Dec. 18, 1960 to William Joseph and Mary Maline Carroll, who preceded him in death.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Martha and their son, Michael; sister, Anne Rhodes (George); brother, Joseph Carroll (Marilyn); brother, Donald Carroll (Julie); sister, Joan Raymer, and many other family and friends.
Paul was a graduate of Walsingham Academy and Virginia Tech, and was a partner with Kevin C. Jennings & Associates Surveyors. He enjoyed performing with the Court House Players and Williamsburg Players and was particularly proud of his roles in movies such as “George Washington,” “John Adams,” “Lincoln,” “Killing Lincoln,” and “Killing Kennedy.”
A celebration of Paul’s life, conducted by the Rev. James R. Larsen, was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at Apostles Lutheran Church, 7092 Main Street, Gloucester. A reception and visitation followed in the Fellowship Hall. Inurnment will be at a later date.
The family extends their gratitude to the caring staff of Virginia Oncology Associates and Riverside Hospice.
