Paul James Kladler, 77, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014.
He was born in Allegheny County, Pa., and was the son of the late Edward and Gertrude Lentz Kladler. He retired from Tenneco Shipbuilding where he worked in the Small Tools Repair Section for 39½ years.
He was a member of Bellamy United Methodist Church where he was the head usher for many years, member of the United Methodist Men and taught Sunday School for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Libby Kladler; son, Greg Kladler and his wife Star; daughter, Susan Blake and her husband Kevin; his sister, June Clark, and his grandchildren, Tyler Blake, Sarah Kladler, and Allison Kladler.
The family received friends at Andrews Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, from 3-4 p.m. with funeral services starting at 4 o’clock by the Rev. Kenneth Waclo and the Rev. Charles McHose. Burial was in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to either the Hospitality Committee of Bellamy United Methodist Church or to the cemetery fund of Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
