Patsy Streater Waxmunski, 72, of Gloucester, Va., passed away Feb. 18, 2015 at her home.

Patsy was blessed with the talent of doing beautiful needlework. She was a three-year breast cancer survivor. Patsy graduated valedictorian and was a member of the basketball team at Morven High School, Morven, N.C. She continued her education and received a secretarial degree at Wingate College, Wingate, N.C. 

Her husband of 51 years, Henry Waxmunski Jr., preceded her in death nine months earlier.

Patsy is survived by a daughter, Lisa W. Carmine (Ricky) of Williamsburg, Va.; and two grand-dogs, Bella and Abbe. She was a beloved mother and mother-in-law.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. Interment was in St. Theresa Cemetery.
