Patricia Simmons Chadwell, of Cobbs Creek, born Sept. 13, 1939, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014.

Survived by her husband, William E. Chadwell Jr.; they were married for 57 years on Oct. 5, 2014.

Survivors include children, Margaret Eran Johnson (John), James Eric Chadwell (Monica), William E. Chadwell III, and brother, William P. Simmons (Georgianna).

A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Mathews on Saturday at 1 p.m. followed by a reception at the Parish House on Main Street.
