Patricia Salter McCoy, 81, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

 

She was born in Columbus, Ga., and was the daughter of the late Preston L. and Ora McLendon Salter and was the widow of Wade W. McCoy. She was a member of Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester.

 

She is survived by her children, Lynda Weston and her husband Tom, Rhonda Ann Campbell and her husband Michael, and Timothy Wade McCoy and his wife Danielle; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

 

The family received friends on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, from 2-3 p.m. in Newington Baptist Church, with funeral services starting at 3 o’clock by the Rev. Michael Gray. Burial was in the church cemetery.
