Patricia Fann Thomas, 73, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2014.
Born Dec. 6, 1941 to the late Norton and Virginia Thomas, she was active with church and community life at First Presbyterian Church in Gloucester and Williamsburg Community Chapel. Pat was an English teacher, spending most of her career at Mathews High School.
Survivors include her son, Tom Ogren; daughter, Ginger Ogren; sister, Pam Casazza; cousin, Terry Byvik, and her kidney donor and dear friend, Dianne Kohler.
The family received friends at Bucktrout Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. A funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Bucktrout Funeral Home, with burial in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
As a teacher, Bible study leader, friend, and mother, Pat’s quiet strength, steadfast faith and optimism touched many people’s lives. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for memorial contributions to be made to FISH, 312 Waller Mill Road, Suite 800, Williamsburg, Va. 23185.
