PATRICIA ANN INNAURATO

Patricia Ann Innaurato, 74, passed away peacefully at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Va., on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, surrounded by her four loving children. Patricia was born on December 23, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Ralph and Freda Innaurato. She grew up in southwest Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic High School in 1968. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard E. Scales Jr. She is survived by her four children, Jason (Becca), Angelique (Richard), Dustin (Brenda), and Stephanie; her brother, Ralph (Anne); 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and two nephews. Patricia had a love for gardening, baking, kayaking, and arts and crafts. She was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Patricia always loved taking vacations to North Wildwood, N.J., her former home, to enjoy the beach and the boardwalk. However, her greatest loves were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10-10:45 a.m., followed by the memorial service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. The inurnment will be private. In memory of Patricia, contributions may be made to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. The family would like to thank Mary at the cancer center and Riverside Hospice, especially Taylor, Emily, Michelle, and Rachel, for taking such great care of our mother. Also, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to Tara, Marina, Christopher, and Tony at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital for the love and compassion you gave us as we sat with our mother in her final days and moments.
