Parenting seminar offered at Grace Covenant

Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Gloucester, formerly First Presbyterian Church, is offering a free parenting seminar from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, at the church, 6470 Main Street.
Free supper and child care are included for all who pre-register at gracecovenant.us. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and teachers are invited to attend.
The seminar is based on the book series, “Grace-Based Parenting,” by Dr. Tim Kimmel, founder of Family Matters ministries. It will be led by two Gloucester teachers, Carrie Landry and Karen Croxton, who are also parents.
“We’ll learn positive principles and tools that work over the long term for growing morally strong and spiritually motivated children,” said Beth Gibson, member of the church’s Christian Growth committee.
