Applications are now available for community artists who would like to participate in Paint Main 2.0, a painting competition that’s part of the 2023 Gloucester Arts Festival.
The fast-paced competition will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 10, at various sites along Gloucester Main Street. Local artists will paint alongside professional Plein Air artists who have been invited to be part of the annual arts festival. Community artists are eligible not just for awards and recognition, but for prize money, as well.
The top prize is $500 with $300 for second place, $200 for third and $200 for the student/youth winner. The entry fee is $10.
Applications are available online at gloucesterartsfestival.com/sign-up-page-2023.
