Plein Air artist Kathy Bockelman of Chesapeake, in photo above, paints the flowers of a magnolia tree in front of Intuitive Healing Bodyworks on Main Street in Gloucester during the Gloucester Arts Festival’s Paint Main, one of many events taking place during the monthlong June festival. Bockelman was one of a number of community artists who competed in the Paint Main contest.
