The Gloucester Genealogical Society of Virginia will meet at 10 a.m. Monday in the Community Room of the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center.
The program, “The Pages of Rosewell,” will feature Philip Page, a resident of Gloucester County and a descendant of the 13th Virginia Governor John Page’s uncle, John Page of North End Plantation in Mathews. A former vice president of the Rosewell Foundation, he is married to Anne Page, a fourth great- grandchild of Governor John Page. Since moving back to Gloucester, he has studied Page family history to share with his children and grandchildren.
When not reading local history or tending to the Page family farm, Page sells engineering software to the automotive industry. Considering faith in God a cornerstone of family, Page is privileged to worship in a local Bible-believing church, a release stated.
