Ware Episcopal Church held an oyster roast Saturday in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team (GUEST) ministry. In partnership with Abingdon Episcopal Church, the two congregations raised $2,500 to help seed the Jubilee Fund, which is a resource for GUEST to help support persons in a homelessness crisis that is maintained by the Jubilee Churches of Gloucester. Philip and Marcia Haywood of Big Island Seafood donated the oysters for the celebration. The Gloucester Farmers Market did the underwriting for the event.
