Machicomoco State Park, 3601 Timberneck Farm Road, Hayes, will hold an Owl Prowl from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The group will meet at the Trailhead Parking Lot
The evening program will focus on the soaring predators that hunt from the sky at night, including learning different owl calls, adaptations, and a chance to dissect an owl pellet. Participants will be standing or walking for the duration of the program and the program will end past sunset. Recommended for participants ages 6 years and older.
