The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League has announced its schedule for the fall season. All home games will be held at Bethel Elementary School, located on Hickory Fork Road in Gloucester.
For September, the Outlaws will play New Kent at home Saturday, Westmoreland at home Sept. 9, Hopewell away Sept. 16, Blue Star at home Sept. 23 and Rappahannock at home Sept. 30.
In October, the Outlaws will play Caroline County away Oct. 7 and Varina away Oct. 14.
All games will start at 10 a.m. Participating teams include 6U-12U. Free admission to watch. There will be a concession stand during the games.
Essex
The Outlaws faced the Essex Trojans over the weekend. Gloucester’s 12U team defeated Essex, 21-7. The offense was led by Deonte Pollard “Teeny” Washington with two long touchdown runs. On defense, Xavier Milawski made several tackles and recovered a fumble. Other outstanding players include Hakeem Erraji, Joey Briggs, Kyle Young and Dylan Delph.
