The 40th annual Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show, Virginia’s largest hunting expo, will be held the first weekend of August at the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County.
The show will be open from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6. Admission is $10 for adults, with children 12 and under admitted free. Parking is free.
Those attending will be able to meet and learn from experts, attend seminars, touch and feel products, talk to guides and outfitters, and see hunting celebrities.
The show will also feature the 84th annual Virginia Peninsula Sportsmen’s Association’s Virginia Big Game Contest. The contest has been sanctioned by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.
