A funeral for Otis James Insley Jr., 74, of Gloucester, was held at noon Saturday in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. He died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014.

 

A native of Poquoson, Insley retired from the Newport News Shipyard, Department 038, in 1998 after 42 years.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda Wilson Insley, and parents, Otis and Carrie Insley.

 

Survivors include his children, Kathy Wood of Smithfield, Jamie Insley and Dennis Insley, both of Gloucester; sisters, Bettie Forrest and Sandra Turlington, and 11 grandchildren.

 

Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery.
