The Original Rhondels are coming to Kilmarnock on Aug. 4.
The iconic beach music band, which can trace its lineage back nearly five decades, will perform at the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck, 517 N. Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Doors open for the show at 7 p.m., with the performance to start at 8.
“This is going to be super special,” said Phillip Mumford, executive director of the BGCNN. “The Original Rhondels defined the sound of their era—a combination of Beach Music, Motown and Swing. [The show] will be an opportunity to rekindle that flame, dance, and relive the Beach Music era. We are grateful that Beachtown Records has brought this opportunity to us.”
