After all the hoopla surrounding the approach of Tropical Storm Ophelia, she was a fairly tame storm, causing flooding during high tides on Saturday afternoon, as shown here at the public landing on Gwynn’s Island in Mathews, but not causing the extensive damage the area has seen with past tropical storms.
