An opening reception for “The Watercolor Palette,” an exhibit featuring works by eight watercolor artists, will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at Arts on Main in Gloucester.
Featured artists will be Rick Griffin, Ellen DeMaria, Catherine Hillis, Michael Kravchak, Jackie Merritt, Doug Mock, Tenley Raithel, and Robert Shuler. Each of the artists brings his or her own style to the show, illustrating the wide spectrum of the watercolor palette, said a press release. Realism, abstract, contemporary art, along with combinations of all three, will be included.
Music will be provided by acoustic artist Jerry Sowers.
Appetizers will be served, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
The exhibit will be on display until March 1.
