An open mic program will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, 287 Jackson Creek Road, Deltaville. It will be headlined by Sandy and O.T. Adcock, who are urging musicians to “grab their instruments and come on out.”
Other attractions throughout the day will include free creek cruises, boat tours, children’s activities, model trains, and boats under construction in the boat shop.
There will be variety of vendors in the Memorial Weekend Market, to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Among the items for sale will be artwork, potted plants, local crafts, jewelry, and more. In addition, the Tidewater Oyster Growers Association will be at the market with equipment for oyster growers at any level. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
