Stay at Home Personal Care will hold a grand opening for its new office from 4-6 p.m. today at Gloucester House, 7657 Meredith Drive near Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

The grand opening will be an opportunity for Stay at Home staff to describe the company’s services and for guests to enjoy refreshments, said Teresa Thrift of Glenns, staffing coordinator for the new office. Stay at Home opened its local office inside Gloucester House in mid-January, Thrift said, along with a satellite office at the Commonwealth Assisted Living facility in Kilmarnock where a separate grand opening will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday.

Assisted living services provided in your home can help delay or even eliminate having to move into a nursing home, Thrift said. Some of the company’s services include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, home organizing, continence care, grooming, and pet care.
