The Ware River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons (organized in March 1896) will hold its Annual Christmas Open House on Tuesday, Dec. 8, for the 26th year. The open house is an affair that is very much looked forward to by residents in this area and surrounding neighborhoods.
Those with tickets will be visiting Exchange, circa 1720, a North River home that has been continuously lived in for 300 years. Dr. and Mrs. David Muron are the present owners and residents.
This Georgian 2½-story home will be completely decorated with all of Christmas’s most beautiful artistic adornments. Guests can tour Exchange’s interior and view the outstanding work of the organization’s decorating committee.
But perhaps it will be in the dining room where most people will gather at any one time to enjoy what the cooking committee has prepared. Tempting dishes will line the table, with champagne punch and pure punch close at hand.
