All post offices, courts, county offices, schools, and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Saturday through Monday, May 28-30, while Gloucester libraries will be closed Monday only.
All waste facilities in Gloucester will be closed that day, but the Mathews Transfer Station will be open. ABC stores in both counties will close at 6 p.m. on Memorial Day.
