All post offices, courts, county offices, and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Schools in both counties will be closed both Friday and Monday for the holiday.
Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Saturday through Monday, while Gloucester libraries will be closed Monday only.
Waste facilities in Gloucester will be closed Monday, while the Mathews Transfer Station will be open for normal hours.
ABC stores will close at 6 p.m. Monday.
