The New Point Comfort Lighthouse observation deck had been demolished on Tuesday and heavy equipment was at the site. The 200-foot walkway and deck will be replaced in the same footprint by Docks of the Bay, a White Stone company, with a grant from NOAA’s Coastal Zone Management.
