NPS announces fee free days

The National Park Service has announced its fee-free days for 2024. On six days in 2024, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee—including the Colonial National Historical Park (Historic Jamestowne and Yorktown Battlefield)—will offer free admission to everyone.
These dates include the following:
—Jan. 15, Martin Luther King Jr. Day;
—April 20, first day of National Park Week;
—June 19, Juneteenth;
—Aug. 4, anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act;
—Sept. 28, National Public Lands Day; and
—Nov. 11, Veterans Day.
