‘Non-Daffodil Festival Beer Garden’ to be held Saturday

A “Non-Daffodil Festival Beer Garden,” rescheduled from the Gloucester Daffodil Festival due to inclement weather, will be held from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. this Saturday in the parking lot of VersAbility Resources, 6632 Main Street. It is sponsored by the Gloucester Main Street Association.
The event is free to enter, with event cups and koozies for the first 700 beverage ticket purchases, said Jennifer Dutton Haggerty, executive director of GMSA.
Several domestic and craft beers and hard cider can be purchased, along with selections from two food trucks. Several vendors will be on hand, and Second Wind Band will provide entertainment. Pioneer chainsaw art will be demonstrated.
A number of businesses are supporting the event, including partner Asbury Electric, Alaistair J. Ramsay Land Surveyor, and Decker Law, Tomlinson Exterminating, W.T. Fary Bros. Lumber, The Closing Shop, Split Enz Salon, and Wood Construction, Haggerty said in a release.
