Noma Ann Pugh, age 90, of Port Haywood, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 5, 2024, with her loving family members by her side.
Noma was born on December 2, 1933 to the late Mary and Preston Parks Colonna.
She dedicated her life to her family whom she loved deeply. Over the years, she took care of many people, worked as a Grocery Store Manager, and was a compassionate caregiver for several patients whom she loved dearly. Noma was a devoted mother and will be deeply missed by her loving children, Margaret Owens, John “Johnny” Pugh, and William “Willie” Pugh (Rhonda). In addition to her children, she is survived by her brother, Preston “Sonny” Colonna (Nancy); grandchildren, Kristina Shaw (D.J.), Amanda Pugh (Eric Kettler), whom she helped raise, Dustin Pugh (Michelle Horsley), Patrick Pugh (Kalysta Stevens); great-grandchildren, Caden Cyhanick and Brysen Pugh “The Boys,” Easton Shaw, Kinsley Shaw, Cohen Pugh, Adelaide Pugh-Kettler, and Bentley Pugh; a special niece, Pearl Waddell, who was more like a daughter as well as many other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
