NN Farm Museum Corn Maze opens Sept. 9

The Northern Neck Farm Museum Corn Maze will be open Sept. 9 through Oct. 29 on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m., weather permitting at the museum’s Luther Welch Agricultural Center.
The cost is $5 per person, $20 maximum per family. Children aged 3 and under enter free. Closed-toe shoes are required.
This year’s maze will honor Future Farmers of America. FFA was founded in 1928 to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. They taught that agriculture is more than planting and harvesting. It’s a science, it’s a business and it’s an art. Their motto is “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live and Living to Serve.”
The Northern Neck Farm Museum/Luther Welch Agricultural Center shows visitors the story of the Northern Neck farmer and the unique lifestyle of agriculture that has contributed so much to the nation.
