The Colonial Beach Community Foundation is hosting the fifth annual Northern Neck Beach Music Festival in the Town of Colonial Beach on Saturday, Sept. 9.
The festival, held on Town Hill, features a live concert showcasing three bands. Feature Attraction Band (F.A.B.), a beach music favorite, starts things off at 11 a.m., followed by popular Motown Butta. This year’s headliner is The Catalinas, playing for the first time in Colonial Beach.
Beach Music Deejay Hall of Fame inductee and WWER 88.1 FM on-air personality Craig Jennings from the Beach Breeze & Groves Show will lead shag dance lessons and dance contest. There will be a “Best Dressed Tent” contest with the winning receiving a free tent rental for next year. Food, beverages, and Ingleside wines by the bottle will be sold.
