Looking for some Halloween fun this year? The Virginia Living Museum in Newport News may just be the place to go.
The Night of the Living Museum, a one-way walk through decorated galleries and along an illuminated outdoor trail, takes place over four nights beginning this Friday.
The museum is open for extended hours for a social distancing, one-way walk to enjoy animals, and spooky decorations this Friday and Saturday, as well as next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30 and 31 from 6-8 p.m. Timed tickets will be sold for this not-too-spooky Halloween event for families with children ages 12 and under.
Families are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes for a 30-45 minute walk through the upper level of the museum and outdoor areas with inflatable Halloween “blow up” decorations in the Museum’s Conservation Garden. Plus, guests will take a nighttime hike along a lit outdoor boardwalk trail path.
