Newport News Restaurant Week begins Sunday

Celebrating its 11th year, Newport News Restaurant Week returns Jan. 14-28 with 24 restaurants participating. Since its debut in 2014, the event has offered diners fixed-price meals at some of the city’s popular restaurants.
Participating restaurants are offering a variety of options at the following price points: Lunch for $15, $20 or $25 and dinner for $30, $40 or $50. Some restaurants will offer drink, appetizer, and dessert specials in addition to their prix fixe menus.
“Because we like to think of Restaurant Week as a celebration of dining in Newport News, contests will be held on Facebook to give fans a chance to win a gift card to one of the 24 participating restaurants,” a release stated.
