The Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal has welcomed Cheyenne Fenton into the newsroom as a part-time reporter. Originally from Arkansas, Fenton moved to Gloucester in 2021 with her family after graduating from Arkansas Tech University with an English degree the previous year. In her spare time, Fenton volunteers as a soccer coach for Gloucester County Parks, Recreation & Tourism. She previously worked for the Gazette-Journal as a freelance writer. In her new role, Fenton will cover Gloucester businesses, state and county park happenings, community events and more.
