New internship available at park

The Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail is seeking a candidate to develop an education program at Werowocomoco, an Indigenous site located on the north side of the York River in Gloucester.
The intern will pilot-test a fourth-grade field trip program with Tribal families, including children of varying ages. The intern will also revise materials that have already been developed, identify missing pieces and logistical challenges, and develop new materials exploring archaeology and maritime heritage.
The organization is seeking a member of the Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program for this position. CRDIP is a professional development program that introduces interns from historically underrepresented backgrounds to career opportunities within Cultural Resource Management in the National Park Service.
