Fulcrum Concepts, LLC, a veteran-owned small business that could create up to 30 or more jobs for the Middle Peninsula, broke ground Monday afternoon at its new headquarters, which will be adjacent to the Middle Peninsula Regional Airport, Mattaponi.

Fulcrum provides full spectrum integrated solutions to customers with unique tactical requirements and is made up almost exclusively of retired Army Special Operations personnel from a variety of disciplines.
The company is investing $4.6 million to provide aircraft integration of specialized weaponry and avionics as well as maintenance operations, according to Ibbie Hedrick, spokesperson for Bolling’s office.
The company will also provide tactical ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) training for both military and civilian special operations personnel.
