New art studio/living space to open in Gloucester

A new art studio/living space in Gloucester Court House will open next month.
Kay Van Dyke will be opening ARTWORK in the Village in September in the building on Main Street displaying the recently painted Women’s mural on one side, and the T.C Walker mural on the other.
ARTWORK in the Village will be a co-work space for local artists and businesses to utilize its studios, workspaces and offices that are offered on a membership basis. Van Dyke’s current building, Village Arts Colony, will be rented out to Theresa Wells-Stifel of York and Main, which is an art and vintage design showroom next door.
“It’s very exciting,” said Van Dyke.
ARTWORK in the Village is a two-story building, where the studios, workspaces and offices are located on the first floor and an apartment for the owner and possibly one other artist will be on the second floor.
