New ad rep joins G-J staff

There’s a new face in the advertising department at the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal. Sherri Leigh of Gloucester County has joined the team as the paper’s newest advertising representative.
Leigh, a wife and mother of two, spent the last several years making the commute over the Coleman Bridge for work, but decided she was ready for a job closer to home. She said the position seemed ideal for someone with her friendly personality.
Since starting on Jan. 3, Leigh has been making the rounds to meet her newly inherited clients. Many of those she’s now working with had been working with the recently retired Buck Cobb. She said she’s had one client tell her that she has big shoes to fill; however, she believes her outgoing personality will help her do just that.
Leigh said people can expect a friendly and outgoing presence when working with her. She said she’s already hitting it off with some of the Gazette-Journal’s clientele.
