A delightful party was given at the home of Mrs. Estes at North in honor of her daughter, Ada, being her birthday. Those present were Misses Laura Mary Kemp, Lizzie Soles, Nora Lewis, Lillian Estes, Lillian Ewell and Messrs. Clinton Ira, Flemming Lewis, Otis, Eddie, Bennie and Walter Kemp, Melvin Richardson, Seth Ewell, Luther Estes, and Randolph Mason. Games were played until quite a late hour. Confectionaries were handed around, and the merry crowd of young people returned to their homes. They all report a delightful time.
Mr. Robert Belvin gave an oyster roast at North End landing on Tuesday night last. After the oyster roast was over, the jolly young people went out rowing.
