Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, is set to host a large display of nativity crèches through a collection that depicts the story of Christmas through artistic interpretations from around the world.
This event opens on Sunday and will run daily through Thursday, Dec. 12, showcasing the diversity of crèche styles and traditions.
With more than 100 nativity scenes on display, visitors will experience the artistry and heritage that make each crèche unique—from handcrafted figures to intricate scenes from various cultures, a church release said. This exhibit is a celebration of faith, family, and community, inviting all to reflect on the holiday season’s deeper meanings.
The exhibit is open Sunday from noon-3 p.m., Monday-Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
This free exhibit is suitable for all ages, offering an engaging experience for families, friends, and holiday enthusiasts alike, the release said.
