Natalie L. (Dellomo) Gillett, passed away on Oct. 15, 2014 at the Southington Care Center in Connecticut. She was the wife of the late J.R. Gillett.

Natalie was born Dec. 24, 1924 in Bronx, N.Y. She lived most of her life on Gwynn’s Island, Va. and moved to Southington to be near her niece and nephew after her husband passed.

Natalie was the “Rock” of her family, being there whenever she was needed. She was a fun loving and giving person of many talents. Her favorite pastime was fishing with her husband.

Natalie leaves her two nieces, Diana and husband Butch Soccodato of Southington and Sonya McLuskey and husband Charlie of Berkeley Heights, N.J.; three grand-nephews; a grand-niece; three great-grand-nephews, and a great-grand-niece. 

The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be in Gwynn’s Island Cemetery.
