Local music educator and Mathews native Natalie Clark has opened La Voce Studio in Deltaville. She said her goal is to help her students “become the singers they have always wanted to be.”
La Voce, which is pronounced “La VOH-cheh” and means “The Voice” in Italian, seeks students who are serious about vocal achievement, said a press release. Clark will hold free consultation and assessment days on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28 and 29, at the Deltaville studio for students seeking to attend lessons in the fall semester.
Two levels of instruction will be available. Level One, The Ingénues, is a small, intimate class of no more than five students who need foundational teaching such as breathing technique, proper tone and resonance, and sight reading.
Level Two, The Prima Donnas, consists of one-on-one weekly lessons for students who already possess some musical training and are ready for the commitment and focus of private instruction. The focus will be on increasing range, improving tone ...
