Nancy Collett Heatwole, 70, of Wicomico, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

She worked in the cafeteria at Gloucester High School and also at Walmart. She loved young people and enjoyed her work in the school cafeteria.

Nancy enjoyed puzzles, flowers, bird watching, shopping and baking cookies. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by so many, but always remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Milton Heatwole; children, Albert Heatwole (Tess), Robert Savage Jr., Ronda Collett and Joanna Kellum (Nicholas); sisters, Shirley Reid, and Sandy Campbell (Keith); brother, Carl Diggs; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Clint Ashe was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family greeted friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 2-3 at the funeral home.
