Nail care service opens in Class Act salon

Nails by Jennifer is a new business located at Class Act salon in 17 Plaza, Ordinary. Owner Jennifer Owens started her business in late July. She mostly provides nail care services at the site, but said she also offers mobile nail care services for homebound and disabled individuals.

She offers manicures, acrylic nails and pedicures, using a whirlpool tub for some nail services.

Owens completed an online nail technician course and served an apprenticeship with Stephanie Belvin of Hayes.

Owens said she has had nail services performed on her and wanted to be able to provide those custom services for others. Most recently, she had been a stay-at-home to twin sons Stephen and Sterling, now 7 years old.

 

She lives at Bena with her boys and husband, Stephen, who works at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. She and her husband are both originally from Gloucester and graduates of Gloucester High School.
