Mathews Volunteer Fire Department’s annual BBQ Dinner fundraiser will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, but with a change: there will be no onsite dining this year. All proceeds will be applied to the new Station #2 building loan. Tickets at $15 apiece are available at Mathews Lawn & Garden in Mathews Court House and All Around Auto at Cobbs Creek.
