Fifty participants gathered at Williams Wharf for a Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot. Hosting its 18th annual event, Mobjack Rowing Association greeted the crowd that ranged from 11 months to 76 years old. Starting at 8:30, the group ran, walked, biked or rolled from Williams Wharf to Town Point landing and back on the 3.5-mile course. MRA president Tim Ulsaker described this year’s Turkey Trot as the wettest he can remember. The winning runner was Bobby Beasley (above) at 21:41. Trotters brought over 30 bags of non-perishable food items which Ulsaker delivered to Hands Across Mathews.
